The United Nations Security Council Resolution (UNSCR) 2250, adopted on 9 December 2015, is
the first ever resolution to recognize and support the positive and important role played by the
youth in peacebuilding.
This website is an independent and purely youth-led initiative to present data on assessing
leadership, participation and inclusion of young people in the implementation of the Youth,
Peace & Security (YPS) agenda at the national level, with specific attention given to the
different forms and levels of youth participation in these efforts. The data can be searched by
country and processes. For more information about the research, see About
section.
